Collaboration with Freedom to Thrive, Mark Torrey, Shreyas Krishnan and Kruttika Susarla, through the Center for Urban Pedagogy
A yearlong collaboration with community members organizing against surveillance and detention, that resulted in a bilingual advocacy tool that explains the impact of electronic surveillance on black, brown, and immigrant communities. I facilitated community feedback sessions, led art direction, wrote copy, and translated between advocate and designer needs.
