Collaboration with Riders Alliance, Clair Beltran, and Sean Suchara, through the Center for Urban Pedagogy
A yearlong collaboration with MTA riders that resulted in an advocacy tool that breaks down how the transit system of NYC works, how decisions get made, and different steps riders can take to organize their community. I facilitated community feedback sessions, led art direction, wrote copy, and translated between advocate and designer needs.
People Power Transit launched at an organizing event for Riders Alliance members. Riders Alliance is distributing thousands of copies of the guide to their grassroots network of riders across New York City and using it in their member trainings.
